Custom Songwriting

As an experienced custom composer, India can write a song as unique and special as your love! She has done this for weddings, anniversaries, and a variety of other occasions — as a future mother-in-law’s musical toast/roast of a couple, as a way to honor people’s lives at memorial services, and for proud parents who wanted a song about their eight-year-old girl. One bride even had the creative idea to ask India to write a duet based on favorite lines from the couple’s love letters to each other! Some people have chosen the custom songwriting option as a touching surprise gift. When you have a special story or an important feeling to express, the custom songwriting option is a delightful choice.

How it works:

Your song is based on an interview with you, or from information you provide. After India writes the rough draft, she submits it for your approval or your preferred changes. Any required editing is then done, and the song is shared with you again for your review and approval. When you are happy with the song, India records the final version and sends it to you. A deposit is required to begin the custom songwriting process. Currently India is offering a special price of $395 for custom songwriting, and she accepts up to three installment payments.

“The Perfect Place to Be”

This song was written for the wedding of Yoav and Melanie Bowles Azachi (as a surprise for the groom.) It tells how these two opposites made each others’ world a better place to be. Before he met her, Yoav was a quiet and organized accountant, but then outgoing Melanie brought spontaneity and joy into his life, and he brought stability and loving supportiveness to hers.

“Dancing Spirits”

This song was written for the wedding of Patrick and Carmi Smith. This couple shared a love of nature walks, and so they asked to have images from nature in their wedding song. Their relationship, they said, was like a graceful dance compared to other relationships they had been in, so “dancing” is also a theme in their wedding song.
